Juni 1998 bis 3. Juli 1998) verlängerten Frist zur Annahme des öffentlichen Angebotes der VOEST-ALPINE STAHL AG auf Erwerb der VAE-Aktien um einen Preis von öS 1.700,– verfügt die VOEST-ALPINE STAHL AG gemeinsam mit der VOSSLOH AG über 1,265.141 Stück VAE-Aktien. Dies entspricht einem Anteil von 90,37% am Grundkapital der Gesellschaft. Die endgültige Durchführung der Übernahme bedarf noch der in den nächsten Wochen zu erwartenden kartellrechtlichen Genehmigung. Linz, am 7. Juli 1998 _____________________________________________________________________ Joint Take-over of the majority of shares in VAE AG by VOEST-ALPINE STAHL AG and VOSSLOH AG After expiration of the extended deadline (from June 26 to July 3) for acceptance of the public take-over bid of VOEST-ALPINE STAHL AG for the acquisition of the majority of shares in VAE at a price of ATS 1,700 per share, VOEST-ALPINE STAHL AG and VOSSLOH AG jointly hold in total 1,265,141 VAE-shares. This corresponds to 90.37% of the total share capital of the company.
