VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

(1) COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OF VIDEO WATERMARKING PATENTS AND TECHNOLOGIES; AND (2) APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

This announcement is made by Vobile Group Limited (the ‘‘Company’’) on a voluntary basis.

COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OF VIDEO WATERMARKING PATENTS AND TECHNOLOGIES

Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated November 23, 2020 (the ‘‘Announcement’’) in relation to the acquisition of certain video watermarking patents and technologies from Verance Corporation. Capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Announcement

The Board is pleased to announce that all conditions precedent under the agreement have been fulfilled and the acquisition of video watermarking patents and technologies has completed in accordance with the agreement.

APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

The Board is pleased to announce that Dr. Jian Zhao (‘‘Dr. Zhao’’) was appointed as the Chief Technology Officer of the Company on March 1, 2021.

Dr. Zhao was Vice President of Advanced Technologies at Verance. Previously, he served as CTO — Thomson Software and Technology Solutions at Technicolor.
