Veidekke ASA: To remodel Lillehammer upper secondary school
Veidekke ASA: To remodel Lillehammer upper secondary school
Veidekke Entreprenør has been awarded the contract from Oppland county
municipality to extend and remodel Lillehammer upper secondary school southern
section. This will be a turnkey contract valued at NOK 150 million, excluding
VAT.
Oppland county municipality is to gather teaching at the current three upper
secondary schools at two school locations. This means that there is a need to
extend and remodel Lillehammer upper secondary school southern section in order
to accommodate the Restaurant and food subjects and Service and transport
subjects which are moving from Mesna upper secondary school.
Veidekke will remodel parts of the existing school building, erect a new
building for sports and teaching, build new external parking, a new waste
facility, establish a new goods reception and carry out demolition work and
various outdoor work.
The work starts in February and will be completed for the start of term in
August 2016. The school will operate as usual through the entire building
period.
