The Supervisory Board of USU Software AG has resolved to expand the company
Management Board in its meeting today. In addition to the current sole
member and spokesman of the Management Board, Bernhard Oberschmidt (43),
Bernhard Böhler (41) and Dr. Benjamin Strehl (30) will join the Management
Board as of October 1, 2014. Bernhard Oberschmidt will continue to serve as
chairman of the Management Board.

USU Software AG Expands Management Board
The Supervisory Board of USU Software AG has resolved to expand the company
Management Board in its meeting today. In addition to the current sole
member of the Management Board and CEO, Bernhard Oberschmidt (43), Bernhard
Böhler (41) and Dr. Benjamin Strehl (30) will join the Management Board as
of October 1, 2014.
Bernhard Böhler is a founding member of USU subsidiary Aspera GmbH. Since
2000, he has played a key role in sales, marketing and internationalization
of this company. At USU Software AG, Bernhard Böhler will be in charge of
sales and internationalization of the entire group. After a career with
corporate consulting company Roland Berger, in 2010 Dr. Benjamin Strehl
took over the areas of product management and M&A for USU Software AG. As
Management Board member, he will primarily develop acquisition growth for
the USU Group, along with the R&D and Consulting areas. Bernhard
Oberschmidt, who has been the sole Management Board member to date, will
serve as CEO and continue to be in charge of Group strategy alongside
Finance, Investor Relations and Central Administration.
The new management structure is an ideal reflection of the company's plans
for the future, because the new composition of the Management Board is
aligned to the growth drivers of the USU Group - innovations,
internationalization and acquisitions - and is therefore a critical success
factor in implementing the mid-term strategy of USU Software AG. The Group
plans to exceed the EUR 100 million revenue mark by 2017. It will increase
its margin in terms of earnings before interest and taxes adjusted for
extraordinary effects due to acquisitions (adjusted EBIT) to more than 15%.
By expanding its Management Board, the Supervisory Board is also complying
with the provisions of the Corporate Governance Code, which state that a
Management Board should have more than one member.
