1. Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC, Wilmington, Delaware, USA, has informed
   us that it has withdrawn its disclosure of significant voting interests
   pursuant to Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG relating to the exceeding of the 5%
   threshold for ThyssenKrupp AG, Essen, Germany, ISIN DE0007500001, on
   September 21, 2012, which was sent to us on September 24, 2012 and which we
   published on September 26, 2012, as no threshold value had been breached at
   the date indicated and therefore no obligation to make a disclosure
   existed.

2. On October 1, 2012, Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC, Wilmington, Delaware,
   USA, informed us in accordance with Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG that its share of
   the voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and Essen, Germany, ISIN
   DE0007500001, exceeded the 5% threshold on September 28, 2012. At this date
   the share of the voting rights amounts to 5.02% (which equates to
   25,845,237 voting rights). All of the voting rights are attributable to
   Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC in accordance with Art. 22 par. 1 sentence 1
   no. 6 WpHG. Franklin Mutual Series Funds managed by Franklin Mutual
   Advisers, LLC holds directly more than 3% voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG
   which were attributed to Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC.
