Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and their Closely Associated Persons

TheWorks.co.uk plc, the multi-channel value retailer of gifts, arts, crafts, toys, books and stationery, has been notified that Kevin Keaney, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has transferred 547,300 ordinary shares in the Company (the "Shares"), for nil consideration, to his wife.

As a result of the transfer, Kevin Keaney's beneficial ownership in the Company remains unchanged.

The Shares transferred remain subject to the original lock-up provisions agreed in connection with the Company's IPO on 19 July 2018, details of which are summarised in the Company's prospectus dated 13 July 2018.
