Appointments to the Executive Committee
Neuilly-sur-Seine, 8th February 2013 – In addition to the nominations announced on the 4th February 2013, Jean-Bernard Lévy, Chairman and CEO of Thales, has appointed or confirmed the following people on the Executive Committee of Thales:
Alex Cresswell, Executive Vice-President, Land Defence and Air Operations;
Marc Darmon, Executive Vice-President, Defence and Security C4I Systems;
Jean-Pierre Forestier, Executive Vice-President, Transportation Systems;
Jean-Loïc Galle, Executive Vice-President, Space;
Michel Mathieu, Executive Vice-President, Avionics;
Pierre Eric Pommellet, Executive Vice-President, Defence Mission Systems.
In addition, on 7th February 2013, the management team presented to the Social partners a new organisation project. Following the consultation processes, the organisation of Thales would consist of:
- 6 Global Business Units :
- o Secure Communications and Information Systems, which would be assigned to Marc Darmon ;
- o Land and Air Systems, which would be assigned to Alex Cresswell ;
- o Defence Mission Systems, which would be assigned to Pierre Eric Pommellet ;
- o Avionics, which would be assigned to Michel Mathieu ;
- o Space, which would be assigned to Jean-Loïc Galle ;
- o Ground Transportation Systems, which would be assigned to Jean-Pierre Forestier ;
- The Operations and Performance Department, assigned to Patrice Caine, would include International Operations responsible for European countries excluding France, Germany and the UK;
- The International Development Department, assigned to Pascale Sourisse, would be responsible for African, Latin American, Asian and Middle-Eastern countries as well as Russia and Turkey;

- Each of the 6 countries in which Thales has a very significant industrial activity would be supervised by a member of the Executive Committee:
- o Germany, assigned to Hervé Multon;
- o Australia/New Zealand, assigned to Alex Cresswell;
- o Canada, assigned to Jean-Pierre Forestier
- o USA, assigned to Marc Darmon;
- o Netherlands, assigned to Pierre Eric Pommellet;
- o UK, assigned to Jean-Bernard Lévy.
Other departments would not see their responsibilities change.
