Silchester International Investors LLP ("Silchester") has been appointed as the fully discretionary investment manager for a number of commingled funds and, from time to time, various separately managed accounts (each a "Client"). These currently are:

• · Silchester International Investors International Value Equity Trust
• · Silchester International Investors International Value Equity Group Trust
• · Silchester International Investors Tobacco Free International Equity Trust
• · Silchester International Investors International Value Equity Taxable Trust
• · The Calleva Trust

In acting for the Clients, Silchester are given full discretion over their investments and are empowered to vote on their behalf. Silchester does not act as a custodian and therefore the shares owned by the Clients are not held in Silchester's name. Rather, all of the Clients' shares are held by The Northern Trust Company, as custodian, via its various nominees and sub-custodians.

On 31 May 2021, during normal trading hours, Silchester purchased 93,847 shares of TGS-NOPEC on behalf of our Clients. In doing so, Silchester exceeded the 5% stock exchange disclosure threshold.

Our records show that TGS-NOPEC have shares with 116,958,298 voting rights outstanding (e.g., 117,303,398 issued shares less 345,100 shares without voting rights that are held by TGS-NOPEC in treasury). As a result of the transactions on 31 May 2021, Silchester has control over the following shares and voting rights:
