Release of shares from the Tesco PLC Performance Share Plan 2011 (PSP)
On 28 April 2022, Gerry Mallon, a member of the Company's Executive Committee, received 294,329 Ordinary shares of 6 1/3 pence each in the Company upon their release from a share award granted on 16 January 2020 under the rules of the PSP.
This represents the gross number of shares released including dividend equivalent shares which have accrued between grant and release. Of those shares released, 144,958 shares have been withheld to cover Income Tax and National Insurance Contributions due on release. The net shares have been transferred to Gerry.
The share price on release was 272.30 pence per share.
