TERNA: FRANCESCO BECCALI APPOINTED AS ADMINISTRATION, FINANCE AND CONTROL DIRECTOR AND EXECUTIVE IN CHARGE OF PREPARING THE COMPANY'S ACCOUNTING DOCUMENTS

Rome, 9 August 2023 – Terna S.p.A. announces that, as of 1 September 2023, Francesco Beccali, currently Group Finance Director, will take on the role of Group Chief Financial Officer.

The Board of Directors of Terna S.p.A., which met today, has assigned to Mr. Beccali - given that he has the requisites provided for in Article 21.4 of the Bylaws and having first obtained the favourable opinion of the Board of Statutory Auditors - the role of Executive in Charge of Preparing the Company's Accounting Documents under the terms of Article 154-bis of Italian Legislative Decree no. 58 of 1998, starting from 1 September 2023.

Born in Rome in 1973, Francesco Beccali holds a degree in Economics and Business and has extensive experience in the Terna Group which he joined in 2011 as Finance Director. Previously, he held increasingly senior positions at BNP Paribas, BNL and Cofiri. In Terna he also served as Member of the Board of Directors of CGES (Crnogorski Elektroprenosni System), the national electricity transmission operator of Montenegro.

Based on the information available to the Company, as of today's date, Francesco Beccali does not hold shares of Terna S.p.A.
