Rheinmetall Air Defence AG 07/2009 - present Head of System Engineering

• Heading the department system engineering fire control units in the field of air defence and radar systems. Besides the tasks of the people management, planning, and budgeting, I am responsible for the product strategy and management for the product lines Skyguard, Skyshield, and Fieldguard.
• Supporting the sales organisation in pre-sales (estimation of development costs, preparing answers to RFPs and RFQs) and during the sales process by defining customized solutions based on the products Skyguard, Skyshield, or Fieldguard for customers.

Profidata Lab AG 08/2006 - 12/2008

Responsible for the building-up and managing of a software research and development laboratory focused on advanced research, evaluation, and development of most modern software, methodologies, framework, and tools in the area of investment management systems (fund management systems).

Responsible for the overall research and development strategy, planning, and budgeting, and hiring of key software engineers and team building.

Greenliff AG 10/2004 – 06/2006 Managing Director

• Founder of Greenliff AG together with two partners. Greenliff AG is an independent high technology company started as specialist on software testing consultancy and tool development and further moved into creation of websites and mobile apps for customers.
• Responsible for the company's business strategy, sales and marketing, hiring activities and setting-up and managing partner relationships with companies such as Perot Systems, Quality First Software, and Software-Tomography.

Software Culture GmbH 10/2003 – present Partner

Founder of Software Culture GmbH together with one partner. Software Culture GmbH is a software consultancy agency which provides development and consultancy services in the area of mobile apps. As partner, I am not working operative within the company, my role is more the "door-opener" to customers and helping defining the company's business, sales and marketing strategy. The Software Culture GmbH is in the process of closing down.

Director QA&T

• Managing all QA&T activities worldwide within Esmertec which develops a Java VM and Java Applets primary for mobile manufactures such as Motorola, Samsung, Siemens, etc. but the Java VM is also sold to network device and CPU board producers.
• Project Manager and "sponsor" of the eQATor (Esmertec's automated distributed software testing environment) development and set-up. The eQATor is based on Java, Ant and Apache Tomcat.
• Member of the company's product management team responsible for the company's product strategy.
• Conducting technical due diligence of software companies acquired by Esmertec AG.
• Co-Author of the company's development processes and guidelines (reached CMMI level 3).

Design and implementation of a parser and reporting modules for the PLEX v3.0 compiler. Used programming language was Pascal under VM/CMS.
