Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Tate & Lyle PLC (the 'Company') announces that a grant of options and awards over the Company's ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Shares') was made on 21 July 2021 under the Tate & Lyle Performance Share Plan 2020 ('PSP') and the Tate & Lyle Group Bonus Plan ('GBP') in respect of the year ended 31 March 2021 to Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMR') as detailed in the table below:

Awards under the PSP are structured as conditional awards. Awards granted under the PSP will only vest to the extent that certain performance criteria are satisfied by the Company over a three-year performance period which runs from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2024.
Further information on the operation of the GBP is provided in the Annual Report 2021.
No consideration is payable for the grant of the awards under the PSP or GBP.
