Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities and Persons Closely Associated with them
Tate & Lyle PLC (the 'Company') announces that on 7 June 2021 the following transactions occurred by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMR') and their Persons Closely Associated ('PCA') in respect of their interests in ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Shares') under the Tate & Lyle 2012 Performance Share Plan ('PSP').
Following the withholding of Shares to satisfy certain tax obligations arising on the release of Shares, PDMR interests in Shares changed as detailed in the table below:

For tax purposes, the market value of the Shares was 791.4 pence per Share.
No consideration was paid for the acquisition of these Shares.
Awards made under the PSP are subject to the satisfaction of performance conditions over a three-year performance period, which in this case ran from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2021. The PSP award acquired by Mr Hampton is subject to a further two-year post-vesting holding period.
The notifications below, which have been made in accordance with the requirements of the Market Abuse Regulation, provide further detail.
