Notifications of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities and Persons Closely Associated with them

Tate & Lyle PLC (the ‘Company’) was informed that 15,064 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company (‘Shares’) were released on 4 September 2018 to Andrew Taylor, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, in accordance with the Restricted Share Award that was granted to him on 24 November 2017. 4,866 shares were withheld to satisfy certain tax obligations arising on the release of the Shares. For tax purposes, the market value of the Shares, being the average of the two closing prices on the date of the transaction, was 663.8 pence per share. Mr Taylor retained the remaining Shares. No consideration was paid for the acquisition of these Shares.

The Company was further informed that on 7 September 2018 Qianlin Braca, a Person Closely Connected to Joan Braca, who is a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, transferred 63 Tate & Lyle PLC American Depositary Shares (“ADS”) to Joan Braca at the price of USD34.082 per ADS.
