UPDATE IN RELATION TO PROPOSED COMBINATION OF TABCORP AND TATTS

Tabcorp Holdings Limited ( Tabcorp ) notes the announcement made by Tatts Group Limited ( Tatts ) concerning the outcome of the hearing before the Australian Competition Tribunal ( Tribunal ) earlier today, 26 September 2017.

Tabcorp confirms that it intends to lodge a new application for authorisation of the proposed combination of Tabcorp and Tatts as raised by Mr Justice Middleton in the hearing today. This application would, in accordance with the directions made by the Tribunal, be heard concurrently with the Tribunal’s consideration of the existing application remitted to the Tribunal by the Full Court of the Federal Court. The Tribunal has allocated hearing dates of 24 and 25 October 2017.
