------- Aabenraa, Denmark, 2015-12-18 10:14 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Erik Bank Lauridsen, General Manager, has announced that he will resign from Sydbank's Board of Directors at the nextAGM on 17 March 2016. Erik Bank Lauridsen was elected to Sydbank's Board of Directors in 2011 and was re-elected in 2014. The wish to resign is due to increased activity in Erik Bank Lauridsen's own companies and the opportunity to focus more on these companies. 'Erik Bank Lauridsen is a valued member of Sydbank's Board of Directors and Iwould like to thank him for the significant contribution he has made for Sydbank', says Torben Nielsen, Chairman of Sydbank's Board of Directors. After Erik Bank Lauridsen's resignation the Board of Directors will consist of seven members elected by the Shareholders' Committee and three members elected by the employees.
