Sydbank — Board/Management Information 2013

The Board of Directors of Sydbank has appointed Jan Svarre as new Group
Executive Management member. Consequently Sydbank’s Group Executive Management
consists of Karen Frøsig, CEO, Preben L. Hansen, Deputy Group Chief Executive,
and Jan Svarre, Deputy Group Chief Executive.

Jan Svarre, 50, was Head of Personal Banking Denmark at Danske Bank. He will
join Sydbank’s Group Executive Management on 1 August 2013. Jan Svarre’s
responsibilities in Sydbank’s Group Executive Management will comprise the
customer-oriented operations, including the Bank’s central Retail & Corporate
Clients division, the regional customer-oriented areas and the operations in
Germany.
