and appointment of Interim Chairman

STM Group Plc (AIM: STM), the cross border financial services provider, is pleased to announce that all resolutions put to the Annual General Meeting held today were duly passed. As announced in the Company's Final Results on 27 March 2018, Michael Riddell, who has served on the Company's Board for 7 years, did not stand for re-election and has therefore retired from the post of Chairman.  STM is in the advanced stages of its search process and anticipates announcing the appointment of a new Chairman shortly. Until the new appointment is finalised, Robin Ellison, currently Non-Executive Director, will assume the role of Interim Chairman with immediate effect.
