REQUEST FOR VOLUNATRY SUSPENSION

We refer to our request for a trading halt dated 18 September 2014.

St George Mining Limited (“St George” or “Company”) requests that ASX grant a voluntary suspension of its shares effective from the commencement of trading on Monday, 22 September 2014.

St George requests that the suspension remain in place until it can make an announcement in relation to the proposed capital raising. Arrangements regarding the capital raising are well advanced and the Company anticipates that it will be able to provide an update to shareholders on 23 September 2014.

St George is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted, or of any other information relevant to this request.
