TRADING HALT
The securities of St George Mining Limited (the "Company") will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 1 May, 2013 or when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT
St George Mining Limited ("St George Mining" or "Company") requests a trading halt in its securities pending the release of an announcement regarding a capital raising by a placement to sophisticated investors.
It is anticipated that the announcement will be released to the ASX before 10:00am AEST on 1 May 2013.
The Company is not aware of any reason why this trading halt should not be granted.
