SRG Global awarded ~$12m Dam Anchoring & Strengthening Project

Highlights:

• SRG Global has secured a ~$12 million contract for the supply and installation of specialist post-tensioned anchors for the Fairbairn Dam Improvement Project

• This contract award demonstrates SRG Global’s expertise and capability in dam anchoring and strengthening projects

• Project works are expected to commence in September 2019 with works expected to be completed by late 2020

SRG Global (‘the Company’) (ASX: SRG) is pleased to announce that it has secured a ~$12m contract as part of the Fairbairn Dam Improvement Project. Fairbairn Dam located near Emerald in Queensland is undergoing a significant ~$169.5m remediation and strengthening project, managed by Sunwater Limited (‘Sunwater’).

SRG Global’s Civil Division has been engaged by Sunwater to supply and install 78 specialist posttensioned anchors across the spillway crest. Works are expected to commence on site in September 2019 and be complete by late 2020. This scope of works is an extension of SRG Global’s working relationship with Sunwater on this project, having previously completed an earlier stage of works on this project.
