APPOINTMENT

Patrick Jeantet is proposed for the position of Independent Director at the SPIE SA General Meeting

Paris, 26 April 2021The SPIE SA Board of Directors will propose, at the General Meeting to be held on 12 May 2021, the appointment Mr Patrick Jeantet to the position of Independent Director. He will replace Mr Michel Bleitrach who is leaving his post after the General Meeting after nearly ten years on the Group's Board of Directors.

A graduate of the École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Patrick Jeantet, 61, began his career in 1985 in the civil engineering and construction sector with the Bouygues and Vinci groups, mainly occupying positions based abroad. In 1997, he moved into the water industry by joining International Water, a subsidiary of Bechtel, as Chief Operating Officer first in Manilla and then in London. In 2005, Patrick Jeantet joined Keolis, first as General Manager in charge of International, then as General Manager in charge of France. In 2013, he became Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Aéroports de Paris group.

Deputy Chairman of the SNCF group and President and Chief Executive Officer of SNCF Réseau from 2016 to 2020, Patrick Jeantet has held the post of President and Chief Executive Officer of Keolis group from January to June 2020.

As a new Independent Director, Patrick Jeantet will succeed Michel Bleitrach on the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, a body which plays an essential role in the makeup of the Board of Directors, drawing up succession plans for management bodies and setting remuneration levels for the Managing Director and Board members.
