Retirement of Managing Director

The Board of SCEE wishes to announce the impending retirement of Mr Simon High, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr High has been in the role since joining SCEE in August 2010.

Mr High advised the Board of his intention to retire from a full time executive role, which the Board understands and supports. The Board wishes to thank Mr High for the considerable contribution he has made to the significant changes and growth of SCEE during the past five years.

Mr High commented that “SCEE is an excellent company with a good reputation and a very strong balance sheet built up over a number of years. Whilst SCEE has developed a sound growth strategy, it is important for the incumbent CEO to be able to take full ownership of both implementation and execution of that strategy over the growth cycle, which was the prime consideration for the Board and me as to the timing of my retirement.”

The Board has commenced a formal search process for a new CEO and Mr High will remain in the role until the appointment is made.
