Softing AG wins major contract

Softing AG, a global provider of industrial automation and automotive
electronics hardware and software headquartered in Haar near
Munich/Germany, today announced that it has been awarded a major contract
from a German automotive manufacturer for the development and supply of
diagnostic software used in development and workshop applications. The
contract has a total volume of just under EUR 2 million. All of the
software will be delivered in 2008, which contributes to further securing
Softing's positive order backlog situation.
Based on initial estimates, Softing expects to clearly exceed the 2007
financial targets announced for the group (sales of EUR 26 million and EBIT
of EUR 2 million). The order backlog as of December 31, 2007, is estimated
to have grown by about 20% compared to last year's numbers. Softing
continues to anticipate healthy growth in sales and earnings and a strong
cash flow from operations even if the economy should experience a downturn.
This is due to long-term orders from major international corporations and
given the nature of the company's business.
