DIRECTORATE CHANGE

As previously announced John Shipsey was appointed a director and joined the Board of Smiths Group plc as Chief Financial Officer on 1 January 2018.  Bill Seeger has resumed his role as a non-executive director in a non-independent capacity and the Board intends to review his independence in due course.
