DS Smith Plc - Directorate Change

Ian Griffiths, who has been a non-Executive Director of DS Smith Plc since June 2014, has decided to step down from the Board  from the date of publication of the Company's 2017/18 results on 28 June 2018.

Given the growth of the Group and its increasing international presence, the Board has commenced a process to replace Mr Griffiths and further strengthen the Board with the appointment of two new non-Executive Directors.

Gareth Davis, Chairman, added "On behalf of the Board and the Company, I would like to thank Ian for his contribution and commitment to the Board and the Company during his four year tenure, a period in which the Company has delivered consistent growth, created sustained value for shareholders and entered the FTSE 100. The Board would like to wish Ian continued success in the future."
