bmp AG:Increase in the share capital of Heliocentris Fuel Cells AG

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— bmp AG: Increase in the share capital of Heliocentris Fuel Cells AG Berlin, 18.05.2006 100% of the company shares of the fuel cell manufacturer Heliocentris GmbH was brought into Heliocentris Fuel Cells AG yesterday as part of a capital increase campaign. A cash capital increase took place at the same time among the shareholders by means of which the share capital of Heliocentris Fuel Cells AG has now been increased to the sum of 800,000 EUR. In addition to the founder and Managing Director of long standing, Dr. Henrik Colell, who now takes up the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors, Dr. András Gosztonyi has been appointed Financial Director of the company. Following registration of this capital measure, bmp will hold 37.7% of the share capital of Heliocentris Fuel Cells AG. Additional capital shall be taken up in the middle term for the fuel cell company, which was able to increase its turnover by more than 60% in 2005. An Initial Public Offering is conceivable once this is effected.
