In accordance with LR 9.6.14(1), SIG plc (the "Company") confirms that Alan Lovell, who will join the Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2018, has today been appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Safestyle UK plc which is admitted to trading on AIM.

Further to the Company's announcement on 4 July 2018 of Mr Lovell's appointment to the Board of Directors with effect from 1 August 2018, the Company notes the following additional matters in relation to Mr Lovell: Mr Lovell was previously an Executive Director of Thistle Midco (UK) Limited and Thistle Topco (UK) Limited, which went into receivership and receivers were appointed in July 2016. Mr Lovell was previously an Executive Director of Sports Hub Limited, which went into receivership and receivers were appointed in July 2012. Mr Lovell was also previously an Executive Director of Conder UK Limited, which went into receivership and receivers were appointed in September 1992.
