RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND VICE CHAIRMAN

The board (the ‘‘ Board ’’) of directors (the ‘‘ Director(s) ’’) of CITIC Resources Holdings Limited (the ‘ ‘Company ’’’) hereby announces that Mr. Sun Yang (‘‘ Mr. Sun ’’) has tendered his resignation as an executive Director and a vice chairman of the Company with effect from 30 December 2021 due to his other business developments.

Mr. Sun has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Sun for his valuable contribution to the Company during the tenure of his office.
