Notice of Board member retirement

Mr Peter Emerson, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Severfield-Rowen Plc has advised the Board of Directors of his intention to retire from his current roles upon his landmark 60th birthday on 5 June 2013.

Peter has worked for the Company for almost 30 years, has been a member of Severfield-Rowen's Board of Directors since 1998 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2007.

While retiring from his full time positions, it is expected that Peter will continue to work for the Company on a part time consultancy basis beyond June 2013, performing a largely commercial advisory role with some of the Company's key clients.

The Board and the Company express their appreciation for Peter's significant contributions over the years and wish him happiness in his forthcoming retirement, while looking forward to having his input in his reduced role beyond June.
