Director resignation

MDS Financial Group (ASX:MWS) announces the resignation of non-executive director Mr Leon Hinde, effective 19 March 2008.

The Board would like to extend thanks to Mr Hinde who has been a director since 2005. Mr Hinde was also the founder of the MDSnews Group which was acquired in April 2006.

Since the successful integration of the merger between leading market data and information provider Bourse Data, international market data specialist MDSnews and private client advisor Cube Financial in December 2006 is now complete, Mr Hinde has advised the Board that he no longer feels a need to be involved at a board level. Mr Hinde will remain as a consultant with the company as required for special services and projects.
