Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Material Responsibility and Connected Persons

In accordance with Rule 3.1.2R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Schroders plc was notified on 1 July 2014 of certain transactions by a Person Discharging Material Responsibilities in the shares or rights to shares of the Company.  In compliance with Rule 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Schroders plc notifies the market of the following transactions:

Michael Dobson exercised his 2010 Long Term Incentive Plan Award granted over 59,523 Ordinary shares at nil cost. 

Subsequent to the exercise, 28,060 of these shares were sold at £25.068966 per share to cover tax and dealing costs.  The balance of 31,463 Ordinary shares was retained.
