SAS comment on today's announcement from the Norwegian Government

Today's announcement from the Norwegian Government,  regarding its intention to

support our transformation plan SAS FORWARD by converting its debt holding into

SAS equity, is appreciated and an important step towards the success of SAS

FORWARD.

The Norwegian Government has also announced they will not contribute with new

capital. SAS wants to express its appreciation of the support provided by the

Norwegian State over the years and most recently during the pandemic.

The full implementation of SAS FORWARD, including the burden sharing components,

will allow SAS to become a competitive player in the European airline industry.

Since 1946, SAS has been an important part of the Scandinavian infrastructure,

connecting Norway and Scandinavia to the world and the world to Scandinavia.

This continues to be SAS' mission for generations to come.
