Rumble Becomes One Of The largest Tenement Holders In The Fraser Range

Highlights

  • Rumble’s Foot Print in the Fraser Range increases by 48%

  • One Large strategic exploration license application covering 409 square kilometres adjoining the existing Zanthus Project located only 18km to the east of the world class Nova-Bollinger Nickel Copper Sulphide discoveries of Sirius Resources NL

  • Two Strategic exploration license applications covering 249 square kilometres only 8 kilometres from Classic Minerals Ltd Mammoth Ni-Cu Discovery

  • Rumble is now one of the largest ASX listed tenement holders in the Fraser Range Province with 1967 square kilometres

  • The airborne magnetics survey at Zanthus Project has now been completed with the data being processed

Rumble Resources Ltd (“Rumble” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company has completed 3 strategic tenement applications in the highly sought after Fraser Range Province. The new exploration licenses expands Rumbles Fraser Range Foot Print to 1967sq km’s with Rumble securing these licenses for nil consideration enabling Rumble to utilise its cash for high impact exploration. Following the completion of the applications Rumble is now one of the largest ASX Listed tenement holders in the Fraser Range. Importantly Rumble owns a 100% interest in 7 out of the 8 Fraser Range tenements.

The first application (E28/2466 – 100% Rumble) adjoins the existing Zanthus Project (E69/2506 & E28/2464) located only 18km to the east of the world class Nova-Bollinger Nickel Copper Sulphide discoveries of Sirius Resources NL (ASX: SIR). The new exploration license increases the Zanthus Project area to 1363 square kilometres. The Company considers the eastern side of the Fraser Range to be highly prospective for further world class Nickel-Copper discoveries with the new application bordered by our Fraser Range peers in Matsa Resources Ltd and Mark Creasy controlled private companies.

To highlight the prospectivity of the permit Rumble completed a wide spaced orientation ground EM survey across the Southern Zanthus Project in April looking to ascertain the suitability of airborne EM methods. Significantly the ground EM survey resulted in identifying a bedrock EM conductor and a further two further areas of high conductivity which may represent additional bedrock EM conductors which emphasizes the enormous potential of the Zanthus Project – See Figure 2 .

Bedrock conductors are important when searching for nickel deposits as they may represent massive sulphides when identified in the right environment. The fact that a conductor identified is in the bedrock (or basement rocks) eliminates the potential that the conductor is caused by changes in the depth or conductivity of the overlying sedimentary cover sequences or is related to ground water at shallow depths. Sirius Resources Ltd made the world class Nova Massive Sulphide Nickel Copper Discovery by drilling a bedrock Conductor.

The second and third applications (E28/2471 & E28/2472 – 100 % Rumble) cover 249 square kilometres and are located 8 km’s from Classic Minerals Mammoth Ni–Cu Prospect. The new applications have had minimal base metal exploration and will require a systematic exploration program once granted.

Rumble will continue to evaluate Fraser Range Projects to provide its shareholders with multiple opportunities to make the next significant Nickel Discovery in the Fraser Range.

Exploration Update

On May 31st Rumble announced that it had started a detailed airborne magnetic survey over its Fraser Range tenements. The airborne magnetic survey is the first stage of a systematic program to identify high priority drill targets to complement the drill ready bedrock conductor at the Big Red Project. The completed airborne magnetic survey will highlight structures and eye features and allow a more detailed understanding of the local geology.

The airborne magnetics survey at Zanthus Project has now been completed with the data being processed. The Big Red Project is still to be completed as is scheduled to be completed in the coming weeks.

The next steps will be determined following analyse of this recent data which will identify our key target areas. A tailored program for each target area will be planned which may include:

  • Ground gravity - Ground gravity will be used to determine areas of dense mafic rocks suitable for nickel and copper sulphides.

  • Ground EM surveys to identify further conductive bodies - Ground EM have already proven useful in determining Nickel and Copper ore bodies and will be the key targets for drilling. Rumble will look to complete further ground EM on our three recently discovered conductive bodies at the Zanthus project and will conduct further programs on any additional targets generated from the magnetics data.

  • Geochemistry utilising air core drilling - Air Core drilling will be used interpret the geology of the area and to help in target priorities from the magnetics data.

  • Deeper RC and diamond drilling where warranted will be then used on priority targets – Rumble have already identified priority targets at Big Red with the exciting 2.2 km bedrock conductor a compelling target. We are systematically exploring our Fraser Range Tenements to add to the targets at Zanthus before we commence our first drill program in the Fraser Range.

  • ENDS -
