Facebook India on Friday announced a "Small Bu si ness Loans Initiative", in partnership with online lending platform Indifi, for small and medium businesses (SMBs) that advertise on the social media site.

India is the first country where Facebook is rolling out the programme, which will be open to businesses registered across 200 towns and cities. During a virtual briefing expl aining the programme, Ajit Mohan, vice-pre s ident and man a ging director, Facebook India, said about 200 million businesses use the Facebook family of apps, incl uding Insta gram and Whats App, and a majority of these are in India.

Indifi is the first lending partner that Facebook has tied up with, and the programme is built with the potential to bring more partners on board. The aim of the scheme is to make loans more easily accessible to small businesses, and reduce the credit gap within India's MSME sector, the technology giant said.

According to the "Future of Business" survey conducted by Facebook in collaboration with

OECD and the World Bank last year, almost a third of operational SMBs on Facebook in 2020 said they expected cash flow to be one of their primary

Pursuant to Section 91 of the Companies Act, 2015 and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Register of Members and the Share Transfer Books of the Company will be closed from Wednesday, September 08, 2021 to Tuesday, September 14, 2021 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend for the year ended March 31, 2021 and also for the AGM of the Company.

If final dividend on Equity Shares, as recommended by the Board, if declared at the AGM, will be paid on or after September 14, 2021 as under :

Pursuant to Section 108 of the Act read with Rule 20 of the Companies (Management & Administration) Rules, 2014, Regulation 44 of the Listing Regulations and Secretarial Standard on General Meetings, each as amended, the the Company is pleased to provide the facility of remote e-voting to its Members in respect of the Business to be transacted at the AGM. Additionally, the company is providing facility of voting through e-voting system during the AGM ("e-voting"). The facility of casting votes by a member using remote e-voting system as well voting on the date of the AGM will be provided by NSDL.

1. The remote e-voting shall commence on Saturday, September 11, 2021 (10.00 a. m. IST) and ends on Monday, September 13, 2021 (05.00 p. m. IST). The remote e-voting module shall be disabled by NSDL for e-voting thereafter. Once the vote on a resolution is cast by the Member, he / she shall not be allowed to change it subsequently.

2. The Members whose name is recorded in the Register of Members or in the Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the Depositories as on the cut-off date viz. Tuesday, September 07, 2021 will be entitled to avail the facility of remote e-voting as well as e-voting in the AGM.

3. Any person who has acquires shares of the Company and becomes a Member of the Company after the dispatch of the Annual Report and holding shares as on the cut-off date may approach the Company is requested to follow the procedure as mentioned in the notice or by sending a request by an email to evoting@nsdl.co.in.

4. The facility of e-voting during the AGM ("e-voting") can be availed by Members who have not already cast their vote by remote e-voting.

5. A Member can opt for only one mode of voting i.e. either through remote e-voting or e-voting system during the AGM ("e-voting").

6. If a Member casts votes by both modes, then voting done through e-voting shall prevail. 7. The detailed procedure for remote e-voting / e-voting at AGM is provided in the Notice of

the 30th AGM.

Mr. Shiv Hari Jalan, Practising Company Secretary, has been appointed as the Scrutinizer for conducting the e-voting in a fair and transparent manner.

The result shall be declared not later than 48 hours of from the conclusion of the AGM. The results declared along with the Scrutinizer's Report shall be placed on the Company's website www.orientalrail.com and on the website of NSDL www.evoting.nsdl.com immediately after the result is declared. The Company shall simultaneously forward the results to BSE Limited, where the securities of the Company are listed.

In terms of MCA circular mentioned above, since the physical attendance of members has been dispended with, the facility for appointment of proxies by the members will not be available at 30th AGM.

कोविड-19 ने लोगों की डेली लाइफ पर महत्वपूर्ण प्रभाव डाला है। आय में कमी, बचत में कमी और निवेश में भी कमी महसूस की गई है। बैंकबाजार डॉट कॉम द्वारा की गई एस्पीरेशन इंडेक्स 2021 नामक शोध में 12 प्रतिशत प्रतिभागियों ने कहा कि कोविड के कारण उनकी आय, बचत या निवेश पर प्रभाव नहीं पड़ा है। रिपोर्ट से ज्ञात हुआ कि मैट्रो और नॉन-मैट्रो शहरों के लोग समान रूप से सभी पैरामीटर्स पर प्रभावित हुए हैं। महिलाएं पुरुषों के मुकाबले में ज्यादा प्रभावित हुई हैं।

शोध में 22 से 27 वर्ष के अर्ली जॉबर्स, 28 से 34 वर्ष के मनी मूनर्स, 35 से 45 वर्ष वाले वैल्थ वॉरियर्स श्रेणी से जुड़े 1704 प्रोफेशनल्स ने हिस्सा लिया। यह लोग छह मेट्रो शहर और टीयर टू श्रेणी के बीस शहरों से थे। अर्ली जॉबर्स ने 83.7 स्कोर लिया और सबसे ज्यादा हिट हुए। 60 फीसदी ने कहा कि कोविड के प्रभाव से

है और इसीलिए इन्हें कार, घर, ट्रेवलिंग में हाई वैल्यू कस्टमर माना जाता है। दूसरी ओर वैल्थ वॉरियर्स केटेगरी ज्यादा डिजिटल सेवी नहीं होते। लेकिन उनकी आय बेहतर होती है और इसलिये उनकी खर्च करने की केपेसिटी अधिक होती है। शोध में देखा गया कि हर पांचवे प्रतिभागी ने कहा कि वे होम ओनरशिप को सबसे अधिक अहम मानते हैं। यह भी कहा कि रिटायरमेंट के समय उनके पास अच्छा पैसा होना चाहिये। बैंगलोर के प्रतिभागियों ने इस पहराये पर सबसे ज्यादा 85.4 स्कोर लिया। उत्तर भारत ने सबसे कम 80.3 स्कोर लिया। मैट्रो शहरों ने वैल्थ गोल्स को सबसे ज्यादा वजन दिया। मेट्रो शहरों पर कोविड का प्रभाव बहुत ज्यादा देखा गया। यह कहा गया कि प्रीमियम प्रोडक्ट्स की खरीद पर असर देखा गया है।

बैंकबाजार डॉट कॉम के मुख्य कार्यकारी ने कहा कि भारतीयों के लिए घर खरीदना सबसे पहली प्रायोरिटी होती है। इसी प्रायोरिटी को कोविड 19 से सबसे ज्यादा हिट किया है। जिस लोगों की आय कम रही, जॉब लॉस हुआ, उन्हें होम रेंट पे करना मुश्किल पड गया, यही सोचा और देखा गया कि यदि अपना घर होता तो इस कठिन समय से मुकाबला कर पाते। जिन लोगों के पास घर है, उन्हें ईएमआई का भुगतान भारी पड़ गया। यह भी देखा गया कि घर के वर्कप्लेस बनने से (वर्क फ्रॉम होम) कई कमियां नजर आई। उनके अनुसार कोविड ने घाव तो कई दिए हैं और इसे भरने में समय लगेगा। लोगों को अपने गोल्स को डिले करना पड़ा है। कोविड ने पर्सनल, फ्यूचर गोल को डिले किया है।

कम्पनी अधिनियम, 2013 की धारा 108 के साथ पठित कम्पनी (प्रबंधन और प्रशासन नियम), 2014 (यथा संशोधित) के नियम 20 एवं सेबी (सूचीबद्धता बाध्यताएँ और प्रकटीकरण अपेक्षाएँ) विनियम, 2015 (यथा संशोधित) के विनियम 44 तथा लागू परिपत्रों के अनुपालन में, कम्पनी अपने सदस्यों को, 60वीं एजीएम की सूचना में निर्दिष्ट व्यवसाय के एजीएम में .संपादित होने के सम्बन्ध में, नेशनल सिक्योरिटीज डिपॉजिटरी लिमिटेड (एनएसडीएल) – अधिकृत एजेंसी के माध्यम से, रिमोट ई-वोटिंग/ के साथ एजीएम के दौरान ई-वोटिंग के द्वारा अपना वोट इलेक्ट्रॉनिक तौर पर डालने की सुविधा प्रदान कर रही है।

डिमैटेरियलाइज्ड तौर पर, भौतिक तौर पर शेयर रखने वाले धारक तथा ऐसे शेयरधारक जिन्होंने अपना ईमेल पता पंजीकृत नहीं कराया है, हेतु ई-वोटिंग की प्रणाली 60वीं एजीएम की सूचना में प्रदान की गई है। ई-वोटिंग हेतु लॉगिन विवरण सदस्यों को उनके पंजीकृत ईमेल पते पर उपलब्ध कराया गया है।

8 सितम्बर, 2021 की कट-ऑफ तिथि के अनुसार, भौतिक रूप में या डीमैटेरियलाइज् रूप में शेयर रखने वाले सदस्य, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक रूप से अपना वोट डाल सकते हैं। वह व्यक्ति जिसका नाम कट-ऑफ तिथि अर्थात् 8 सितम्बर, 2021 के अनुसार सदस्यों के रजिस्टर अथवा डपॉजिटरियो द्वारा अनुरक्षित लाभार्थियों के रजिस्टर में दर्ज हो, केवल वही रिमोट ई-वोटिंग के साथ ही वार्षिक आम बैठक के दौरान वोटिंग की सुविधा प्राप्त करने हेतु अधिकृत होगें। रिमोट ई–वोटिंग की अवधि रविवार, 12 सितम्बर, 2021 को पूर्वाह्न 9:00 बजे से आरम्भ होगी तथा मंगलवार, 14 सितम्बर, 2021 को अपराह 5:00 बजे समाप्त होगी। इसके पश्चात् रिमोट ई-वोटिंग मॉड्यूल एनएसडीएल द्वारा निष्क्रिय कर दिया जाएगा। उक्त तिथि एवं समय के उपरान्त रिमोट ई-वोटिंग की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। सदस्यों के वोटिंग का अधिकार कट-ऑफ तिथि अर्थात् बुधवार, 8 सितम्बर 2021 को कम्पनी की प्रदत्त समता शेयर पूँजी में उनकी भागेदारी के अनुपात में होगा। वह व्यक्ति जिसका नाम सदस्यों / लाभार्थियों के रजिस्टर में कट–ऑफ तिथि को दर्ज हो, केवल वहीँ रिमोट ई-वोटिंग / एजीएम में ई-वोटिंग की सुविधा का लाभ उठाने हेतु अधिकृत होंगे और जो व्यक्ति कट—ऑफ तिथि को सदस्य नहीं है, उन्हें एजीएम की सूचना को जानकारी मात्र के उद्देश्य से व्यवहृत करना चाहिए। यदि कोई व्यक्ति सूचना के प्रेषण के पश्चात् परन्तु कट-ऑफ तिथि अर्थात् 8 सितम्बर, 2021 के पूर्व कम्पनी का सदस्य बनता है तो वह अपने डीमैट अकाउंट संख्या / फोलियो संख्या, पैन, नाम एवं पंजीकृत पते के उल्लेख सहित evoting@nsdl.co.in पर अनुरोध भेजकर लॉगिन आईडी और पासवर्ड प्राप्त कर सकता है। ऐसे सदस्य कम्पनी द्वारा 60वीं एजीएम की सूचना में निर्दिष्ट तरीके से, ई–वोटिंग निर्देशों का उपयोग करके अपने वोट डाल सकते हैं। हालांकि, जो सदस्य पहले से ही ई-वोटिंग हेतु एनएसडीएल के साथ पंजीकृत हैं, वे रिमोट ई-वोटिंग / एजीएम में ई-वोटिंग के माध्यम से अपना वोट डालने के लिए अपने मौजूदा यूजर आईडी और पासवर्ड का उपयोग कर सकते हैं। ई—वोटिंग की सुविधा एजीएम में उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी एवं एजीएम में भाग लेने वाले सदस्य, जिन्होंने पहले से अपना वोट नहीं डाला है, 60वीं एजीएम सूचना में निर्दिष्ट व्यवसाय(ओं) पर अपना वोट इलेक्ट्रॉनिक रूप से डाल सकते हैं। जिन सदस्यों ने रिमोट ई-वोटिंग द्वारा अपना वोट डाला है, वे एजीएम में सम्मिलित हो सकते हैं, परन्तु एजीएम में पुनः अपना वोट डालने हेतु अधिकृत नहीं होंगे।

वैश्विक स्तर पर वस्तुओं का व्यापार कोविड.19 महामारी के झटके से अब उबर रहा है। विश्व व्यापार संगठन (डब्ल्यूटीओ) के वस्तुओं के व्यापार बैरोमीटर में यह आकलन किया गया है। जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार यह बैरोमीटर रिकॉर्ड उच्चस्तर पर पहुंच गया है। यह संकेतक सबसे पहले जुलाई, 2016 में जारी किया गया था। इस मापक का ताजा आंकड़ा 110.4 पर पहुंच गया है जो इसका अब तक का रिकॉर्ड स्तर है। जिनेवा स्थित 164 सदस्यीय डब्ल्यूटीओ ने कहा कि सालाना आधार पर इस बैरोमीटर में 20 अंक की वृद्धि हुई है।

रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि यह आंकड़ा भारत की दृष्टि से अच्छा है क्योंकि देश का निर्यात तेजी से सुधर रहा है। इसमें कहा गया है कि आंकड़ों से पता चलता है कि दूसरी तिमाही में वस्तुओं का व्यापार सालाना आधार पर और अधिक तेजी से बढेगा। हालांकि, इसके साथ ही रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि विश्व व्यापार के परिदृश्य के
