Appointment of lead manager

The board of River and Mercantile UK Micro Cap Investment Company Limited (the "Company") notes the announcement made this morning by River and Mercantile Group Plc ("RMG") that Philip Rodrigs has today left RMG's subsidiary, River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP, which acts as the Company's portfolio manager, following an investigation into a professional conduct issue.

Responsibility for the management of the Company's portfolio will pass to George Ensor, who has been involved with the management of the Company's portfolio since its IPO in 2014.
