HERNA VERHAGEN JOINS REXEL'S SUPERVISORY BOARD

The Supervisory Board of Rexel, acting on the recommendation of its Nomination Committee, unanimously agreed to co-opt Herna VERHAGEN as an independent member of the Supervisory Board, replacing Akshay SINGH from Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Roberto QUARTA, chairman of Rexel's Supervisory Board, declared: "Herna's strong track record in a large variety of senior corporate roles and her experience of supply chain issues will be a great addition to Rexel's Supervisory Board. I also thank Akshay SINGH for his contribution to Rexel's Supervisory Board."

Biography

Herna VERHAGEN has been Chief Executive Officer of PostNL since April 2012. Prior to this, she served as a member of the Management Board of PostNL N.V., and was Managing Director Parcels and International PostNL, as of 2011.

Herna VERHAGEN joined TNT Post in 1993 as a sales manager before going on to hold a number of senior positions including Commercial Director, Coordinating Managing Director Mail NL and Managing Director Group HR of TNT N.V.

Herna VERHAGEN sits on the supervisory board of Nutreco N.V. A Dutch national, aged 47, Herna obtained a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Nijmegen, a Masters degree in Human Resources from the Tilburg University, an International Management degree from INSEAD, a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and an Executive MBA degree from Stanford University.
