COMPLETION OF JAMES BAY LITHIUM ACQUISITION

ASX RELEASE: 1 MAY 2023

Highlights

• RBX has completed the acquisition of the Wali Lithium Project and the Ernst Lake Lithium Project, both located in the highly sought-after James Bay Lithium District, Québec

• The projects are in close proximity to Patriot Battery Metals (ASX:PMT) (Wali project, ~16km east) and Winsome Resources (ASX:WR1) (Ernst Lake project, ~13km south)

• To drive exploration activities across the Company’s project portfolio, director Brent Palmer has moved to an executive director position

Resource Base Ltd (ASX: RBX) ( Resource Base or the Company ) is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the Wali and Ernst Lake Lithium Projects, located in the prolific James Bay Lithium District in northern west-central Québec, Canada ( Acquisition ) ( James Bay Projects ). Details of the Acquisition are set out in the announcement dated 24 February 2023.

To help drive exploration activities at the James Bay Projects and the Company’s Australian projects, director Brent Palmer has moved to an executive position, effective today.

Resource Base Non-Executive Chairman, Maurice Feilich, commented:

“Following the overwhelming support from shareholders for the transaction, we are pleased to complete on the acquisition of the James Bay Lithium projects. Exploration work is already underway and we look forward to providing further updates in coming weeks.

Brent has worked tirelessly on the acquisition and coordinating work programs over the past few months and has agreed to assume the role of fulltime executive director. His commitment to the company and the prospective project portfolio is a great outcome for Resource Base.”
