Simon Jackson appointed as a Non-Executive Director

Resolute Mining Limited (Resolute or the Company) (ASX/LSE:RSG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Simon Jackson as a Non-Executive Director of the Company effective 29 October 2021.  Mr Jackson will replace Ms Yasmin Broughton who resigned from the Board on 28 October 2021.

Mr Jackson is an experienced director and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills developed over 25 years in management of mining companies, many in Africa.

Mr Jackson holds a BComm degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He currently serves on the Boards of Predictive Discovery as a Non-Executive Chairman, Sarama Resources Limited as Non-Executive Chairman, Cygnus Gold Limited as Executive Director and Kopore Metals Limited as Executive Director. In addition, Mr Jackson has previously served on the Boards of Orca Gold Inc and Cardinal Resources Limited amongst others and was a key member of senior management at Red Back Mining Inc. for over ten years.

Resolute's Chairman, Mr Martin Botha, welcomed Mr Jackson to the Board:  "I am delighted that Simon is joining the Resolute Board. His significant management experience of gold mining companies, particularly in Africa, will be highly beneficial to the company. He also brings valuable knowledge through his experience in his capacity as Audit and Risk Committee Chair for many years at Sarama Resources Limited."

Mr Jackson replaces Ms Broughton, who resigned from the Board today, as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee. Ms Broughton joined the Board of Resolute as a Non-Executive Director in June 2017.
