Appointment of Chief Financial Officer`

Resolute Mining Limited (Resolute or the Company) (ASX/LSE: RSG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Warden as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective from 1 September 2021.

With over 25 years of experience in leading the financial, strategic and commercial functions of businesses in the natural resources and agricultural sectors, Doug replaces Stuart Gale who was recently appointed Resolute's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. 

Most recently, Doug has been the CFO at CBH Group, Australia's second largest private company and a leader in Australian grain storage, handling, transport, marketing and processing.  While at CBH, Doug was responsible for Finance, Treasury, Tax, Strategy & Business Development, Procurement and IT in addition to being integral in leading an organisational transformation process.

Prior to CBH, Doug spent 15 years in the mining industry, primarily with ASX listed Iluka Resources, the world's largest producer of zircon and a significant producer of titanium dioxide feedstocks.  While at Iluka, Doug held a number of senior executive positions including CFO and Head of Strategic Planning, Head of Resource Development and General Manager Business Development.  In addition to his key financial, planning and investor responsibilities at Iluka, Doug has also had broad experience in international operations in Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka and the United States.

Doug is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a Masters of Business Administration - AGSM at the University of New South Wales.
