RESMED TO WEBCAST THIRD QUARTER FISCAL YEAR 2006 EARNINGS CONFERENCE CALL

SYDNEY, Australia, April 13, 2006 -- RESMED INC. (ASX: RMD), announced today that on Friday, May 5, 2006, it will release its third quarter fiscal year 2006 earnings for the period ended March 31, 2006. ResMed will issue an earnings press release after 6:00 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time (Aust EST) and will host a conference call to review its quarterly and year to date results, market trends, and future outlook.

The conference call is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time (Aust EST) and will be webcast on ResMed's website at www.resmed.com.
