Regis Appoints Mr Ian Kerr as General Manager - Projects
The Directors of Regis Resources NL (ASX:RRL) are pleased to announce that Mr Ian Kerr has been appointed to the position of General Manager - Projects.
Mr Kerr's primary responsibility will be the management of the Duketon Gold Project feasibility study and project construction, and he will be based in the Company's West Perth office.
Mr Kerr holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Canterbury University in New Zealand and has worked extensively in the mining industry throughout the Asia Pacific region. He is currently Senior Project Manager for Lycopodium Engineering, and has recently held the position of Project Manager for Westonia Mines Ltd, Manager Mt Keith Projects for WMC Ltd, and Project Manager for the \$140m Wallaby Project and for the \$236m Osborne Copper/Gold Project for Placer Dome Asia Pacific.
Speaking today, the Chairman Mr Michael Folie said "we welcome lan to the Company, and Regis is pleased to have a person of lan's extensive project management experience on the team".
