Johan Wall new CEO of Bisnode
Johan Wall has been appointed as the new CEO of Ratos' subsidiary Bisnode. He comes most recently from the post of President and CEO at the listed software and consulting company Enea.
Johan Wall, born in 1964, holds a master's degree in engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has been a visiting scholar at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Johan also has four years of experience in Internet research from Verizon Communications in Boston and is founder of the Swedish Internet consulting company Netsolutions. Other senior positions held by Johan include President of Framfab and since 2004 President and CEO of Enea.
"With his solid background in engineering and prior leadership roles in large organisations, Johan is ideally suited to take over as CEO of Bisnode. In addition, Johan has many years of theoretical and practical experience of the Internet and digital business operations. We on the Board are convinced that Johan and the management team have the necessary skill and expertise to continue leading Bisnode forward in its ongoing European expansion," says Bisnode's Chairman and Acting CEO, Håkan Ramsin.
Johan Wall will succeed Lars Save, who resigned as CEO in February this year. Since that time, Board Chairman Håkan Ramsin has served as Acting CEO of Bisnode.
Bisnode is one of Europe's leading suppliers of digital business information and services for market, credit and product information. Ratos acquired a majority holding in Bisnode in 2005, when Ratos' associated company Infodata was fusioned with Bonnier Affärsinformation. The company has since then strengthened its leading position in the European market through some 20 strategic acquisitions in Europe. In 2007, Bisnode reported net revenue of SEK 3,899 million and an operating profit (EBITA) of SEK 580 million. The company has around 3,000 employees.
Ratos has a 70% holding in Bisnode.
