Management change at Randstad
Randstad announces a management change in its Executive Board. The Supervisory Board of Randstad Holding nv proposes to appoint François Béharel to the Executive Board for an initial 4-year term. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 28, 2013.
François Béharel joined VediorBis as a Regional Director in 1999. He had just become CEO of the Vedior group in France when he was appointed President and CEO of the new combined Randstad Group France in 2009.
Fritz Fröhlich, chairman of the Supervisory Board, comments: "We are very pleased to announce the proposed appointment of François Béharel as a member of the Executive Board. His track record as President and CEO of the largest European operating company and one of Randstad's largest professionals businesses in Europe has been impressive and we look forward to his future contributions to the company."
This appointment follows the agreement that Brian Wilkinson will step down as a member of the Executive Board.
Brian Wilkinson joined Vedior in 1999 as UK development manager. He joined Vedior's board of management in 2003 and was appointed to the Randstad Executive Board in 2008, responsible for the UK, India and Asia Pacific.
Ben Noteboom, CEO of Randstad: "Brian has played a key role in the complex integration processes in Australia and the UK after the Randstad-Vedior merger. He was instrumental in shaping our presence in China and India. We have come to know Brian as a very dedicated, experienced and motivational colleague. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Following these changes, the responsibilities of the members of the Executive Board will be adjusted. An EB portfolio overview is included on the next page.
