RAMELIUS ANNOUNCES CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Adelaide-based gold and nickel explorer, Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX code "RMS") has announced the appointment of Mr Dom Francese as Chief Financial Officer.

The appointment takes effect immediately.

Mr Francese, who has acted as Company Secretary for Ramelius since it listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in March 2003, is a Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining South Australian Chartered Accounting firm, Kennedy & Co. five years ago. Mr Francese spent 12 years as State Manager Regulation. Compliance and Participant Services with Australian Stock Exchange Limited.

Ramelius has gold and nickel exploration interests in the Coolgardie Goldfields of Western Australia and earlier this month reported bonanza-style intersections of gold at its Wattle Dam project.

These results included 748 grams per tonne gold (g/t au) and 143 g/t au in adiacent one metre intervals, and an additional 59 o/t au over one metre within a continuous mineralised zone in an infill hole at Wattle Dam, 50 kilometres southeast of Coolgardie.
