INTERIM CEO APPOINTED

Black Mountain Resources Limited ( ASX: BMZ ) (“ Black Mountain ” or “ the Company ”) is pleased to advise the appointment of highly experienced mining professional Bronwyn Barnes as the interim Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. The appointment will be for a period of 3 (three) months to support the Board in reviewing opportunities to streamline operations at its Namekara vermiculite plant in Uganda and expanding operational and exploration capabilities.

With extensive experience in working in junior exploration companies operating in Africa, Ms Barnes’s has nearly 20 years’ experience in the resources sector, having held director, leadership and operational roles for multiple companies ranging from BHP Billiton to small-cap exploration businesses. She is currently NonExecutive Chair of Auris Minerals Ltd (ASX: AUR), Non-Executive Chair of Indiana Resources Ltd (ASX: IDA) nonexecutive Director of JC International Ltd (ASX: JCI), and a member of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (“AMEC”) Executive Council.

Ms Barnes has been employed on a part-time fixed term contract for three months and will receive a fixed sum of $5,000 plus GST per month from the date of her appointment for the duration of her contract.
