Project Manager Paralana Appointed

Petratherm is pleased to announce that Mr John King has been appointed as Petratherm’s Project Manager of its flagship Paralana Geothermal Energy JV Project.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this senior role will be responsible for the project management and implementation of activities relating to the Company’s Paralana Project – a joint venture between Petratherm Limited and Beach Petroleum.

John’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Science & Technology Commercialisation.

As a former principal consultant with GHD, John has a wealth of engineering and project management experience built over 30 years, primarily in the oil and gas industry.

His appointment is timed to coincide with the ramping up of activities of the Paralana Project as that project enters the next key stage of drilling the 4 kilometre deep Paralana 2 well.
