ASX ANNOUNCEMENT / MEDIA RELEASE

Auger geochemistry drilling program results & planned RC drilling follow-up at Broads Dam Gold Project

Through a farm-in Heads of Agreement with Australian Gold Investments Limited (ASX: AGV), ABM Resources NL (ABM) is earning an interest in three Prospecting Licences (PL’s 16/2386 - 16/2388) located at Broads Dam, 35 km north-west of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia (Figure 1).

The Broads Dam Gold Project encompasses a 1.7km portion of the highly mineralised Zuleika Shear Zone, which is host to a number of nearby operating underground gold mines, including Barrick’s Kundana Operations and La Mancha’s Frogs Leg mine. Furthermore, the previously mined Broads Dam pit (approximately 90,000oz @ 3.9g/t) and Blue Funnel pit lie immediately along strike to the north of the Project.

ABM’s primary gold targets within the project area include a portion of the Zuleika Shear and a very pronounced “magnetic anomaly” located just to the west of the shear.

A program of auger soil geochemical drilling was completed on a 200m x 100m pattern over the targeted “magnetic anomaly” during June 2009. This auger program comprised 129 drill holes/samples targeting the pedogenic carbonate layer in the soil profile. Multielement analysis (Au, As, Mo, Hg, V, Te and Sb) has been completed on the auger samples to determine if a geochemical signature can be identified for gold and pathfinder elements associated with an intrusive related style gold mineralising system.

The multi-element assay results have been received from the auger drilling program with three discrete gold anomalies being defined (Figure 2). While the peak gold result was only 37ppb, the anomalies are coherent and are 2 to 3 times “background”. While the assay results for the other metals failed to provide clear supporting evidence for the targeted intrusive related model, the gold anomalies are spatially coincident with the peaks of the targeted magnetic anomaly supporting further testing of this target. A number of samples with elevated gold values were also returned from the eastern end of the survey area, however these overlap with a known historic gold soil anomaly associated with the Zuleika Shear and which is already planned to be further drill tested by ABM.

ABM has planned an RC drilling program to test three of the coincident magnetic “peaks” and gold anomalous targets within the broader magnetic anomaly. A total of three drill holes of approximately 300m in depth each will be drilled. In addition, two target areas (FIE and Hepburn) within the Zuleika Shear Zone will also be RC drill tested.

The RC drilling program totalling some 1600m is expected to commence at the end of this week with a rig being mobilised to site on Saturday 4 July. The duration of the RC program is expected to be 10 days. Assay results from the program are expected to be available in early August 2009.
