Precise BioMatch Mobile integrated into another smartphone from Oppo

Precise Biometrics product for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch™ Mobile, has through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards (FPC) been integrated in yet another smartphone from Oppo, R7 Plus.

"Precise BioMatch Mobile enables convenient and secure fingerprint recognition for smartphones. We are happy that Oppo continues to use our technology, which also demonstrates a positive market development for fingerprint sensors in mobile devices, says Håkan Persson, CEO of Precise Biometrics.

The integration will generate license revenue starting from the second quarter 2015. The value of license revenue is based on the number of sensors FPC delivers to the mobile phone manufacturer and cannot be forecasted at this point.
