On December 10, 2007, PPG Industries, Inc. announced that its proposed acquisition of SigmaKalon Group had been approved by European Union regulators. The Company anticipates that the acquisition will close within the next 45 days. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.
